Sally Brown and Kate Morris have a simple mission: to get all children cooking. We believe every child has the right to learn this vital life skill, whether it is learned in the home or at school and that children are capable of achieving more in the kitchen than most parents and teachers realise.
We aim to put the “I CAN” back into cooking for children - stripping away all the barriers and excuses for not cooking. Our approach has led to the creation of a new cookery language, devising new safer methods and techniques that enable young children to create healthy and delicious food. We use ready- to- hand tools and utensils, there’s no need for fancy gadgets
Television We devised the successful CBeebies television series My World Kitchen which launched in February 2018, on CBeebies. There are now 60 episodes, available in Latin America, The Republic of Ireland, and on British Airways. We also co-devised I Can Cook, first commissioned in 2008 and running to 104 episodes - also available worldwide.
Cookery books We are authors of four children’s cookery books including I Can Cook and The World in My Kitchen. Personalised signed copies of The World in My Kitchen for Birthdays, Christmas and just because - £15 incl. p&p (UK) - contact us for details or overseas postage
