“There is a vibrant current debate in the UK and elsewhere about the importance of cooking skills. What evidence there is points to the importance of teaching young people cooking skills is about fun, empowerment and just giving them a lifeskill which it's handy to have. Do I think cooking skills are a good thing to teach? I most certainly do. They are a lifeskill which could be the pleasure and means of existence for all."
